Kamikaze essay question

This implies an internal conflict happens as a result of seeing the natural world down below and could mean the pilot realised he wanted to live. On Wednesday we taught the poems Kamikaze and Remains and had a day focused on poetry. During the day students spent time writing their own essays and I live wrote at the same time as the students.

A poem about a kamikaze pilot who returns home and faces rejection. The poem’s content, ideas, language and structure are explored. Comparisons and alternative interpretations are also considered.

Kamikaze is an interesting, quiet and stealthy internal conflict with the Japanese suicide bomber being unable to fulfil his duty. He turns back as shown in the simile “strung out like bunting” as he was “half way” through the journey to his death.
